Below are a few examples of classic one day rides to be had in Taiwan. Of course, there are dozens of others, but just to give you some reference, here are some of our favourites.
FGZ Loop
Half Day / 699m / 53km
Take on the iconic local climb of Fengguizui, one of the most popular in all of Taiwan with cyclists. After the climb, you have the option to get a coffee at the top, before descending one of the the best roads you can imagine, as you drop 600m in 10km back to the riverside path, which will take you safely back to Taipei.

Taiwan KOM Route
1 Day (or overnight) / 3404m / 90km
The most famous of all Taiwan's routes, the iconic KOM course begins by the Pacific Ocean, winds it's way through the incredible Taroko gorge, past steaming jungles, climbs up through alpine forest before arriving, above the tree line to face the final 10km, well known for being very steep, but staggeringly beautiful.
